So not aggressive in the slightest then.

Nice bullshitting Sullivan.

Romfordboy 10:24 Sat Apr 16
Re: Olympic bosses ordered to reveal West Ham stadium deal
Also he doesnt say how much Corp we get already which i believe is accounted for in the commercial portion of revenue..

Gavros 10:23 Sat Apr 16
Re: Olympic bosses ordered to reveal West Ham stadium deal
£100,000 per game over the 25.

Johnson 10:22 Sat Apr 16
Re: Olympic bosses ordered to reveal West Ham stadium deal
Does the contract say what the rate is for games 26 onwards. Sullivan suggested it was quite aggressive.

Well that's fucking excellent. Another MASSIVE win for the OS.

Romfordboy 10:22 Sat Apr 16
Re: Olympic bosses ordered to reveal West Ham stadium deal
we should also remember that IF we are in Europe we will have 5-6 sell home games which will add £7-10m as well

Re: Olympic bosses ordered to reveal West Ham stadium deal
So if you want to take the net figure rather than the gross its about £11 million for E20 LLP. Which is about what Charles Sales said it would be in that article in 2012.

This is why I'm inclined to believe that story about the stadium sponsor.

Mid season upgrades won't help the FFP calcs I wouldn't have thought Arko.

Re: Olympic bosses ordered to reveal West Ham stadium deal
On the other hand quite a few of those kids tickets will be upgraded when people take their mates instead of their kids on quite a regular basis, like evening games or those against local opposition...

Fair points there and of course there's the cut the operator, L185 (?) takes but still the point is that to ignore the catering and naming rights in all these news stories and other fans moans is to completely miss the main benefit for the taxpayer.

Re: Olympic bosses ordered to reveal West Ham stadium deal
£25-30 million don't sound like much to me, or is it £25-30 million more than this year?

Johnson 10:12 Sat Apr 16
Re: Olympic bosses ordered to reveal West Ham stadium deal
Plus we need to know how many of the up to 100,000 community tickets we're giving away.

That could take a fair whack out too.

Gavros 10:11 Sat Apr 16
Re: Olympic bosses ordered to reveal West Ham stadium deal
These were Whetstone's estimates on normal ticketing and corporate. According to him a total uplift of £24.5 million, though as you say Johnson, there's 10k kids tickets so I'd knock £5 mil off that.

Gav - I think that the Catering Revenue is what is received from the separate catering contract and not the total amount spent on refreshments/alcohol. The agreement doesn't talk about any of the costs of catering (other than the caterers have to provide all the cutlery, plates and glasses. Just as an example - assume that the margins on catering (after supplies and staff costs) are 30%, then if 100% of the Revenue is allocated out and we get 30%, then LLDC in effect get nothing - as someone has to pay the costs.

What I actually think is that the Catering Contract will typically provide a % of the revenue that the caterers pay as a royalty to the Stadium operators - and it is that % that is treated as revenue in our agreement. In which case it is probably nearer £2 per fan that LLDC actually receive as revenue (after the caterers have taken their costs and margin).

If we've sold 10,000 £99 tickets then how does that skew the expected ST return?
